Remove Virus Using CMD:

Computer viruses can be removed if you follow some simple steps. Follow these steps:.

1) Open command prompt by typing CMD in RUN dialogue box (WINDOWS 7 USERS CLICK START AND TYPE RUN IN SEARCH BOX THEN ENTER, WINDOWS 8 USER PRESS WINDOWS KEY + Q TO OPEN SEARCH AND ENTER COMMAND PROMPT).

2) Now type task manager into command prompt and press enter. You will see the task manager opened up on screen letting you know that it has successfully done so, now proceed to the next step .

3) Once the Task Manager opens up, go to the Process tab. On this tab you will see a list of all running processes on your computer.

4) Now according to our previous version of Windows you need to locate the virus and then select it and click the END PROCESS button as shown in the picture. Selecting a process and clicking the end process button will close that particular program .

5) If you are using Windows 7 or 8 just go through the same procedure but firstly press ALT+CTRL+DEL keys together and Task manager will open up, now proceed as mentioned above. After closing down the task manager don’t forget to reopen the command prompt by typing cmd in the run dialogue box.

REMEMBER: Sometimes Computer viruses can be too hard set so for this purpose one has to change some settings such as disabling DEP (Data Execution Protection) and also disabling System Restore. 

To do so follow the steps below:

1) Open system properties dialogue box by typing sysdm.cpl in RUN Dialogue Box (WINDOWS 7 USERS CLICK START AND TYPE RUN IN SEARCH BOX THEN ENTER, WINDOWS 8 USER PRESS WINDOWS KEY + Q TO OPEN SEARCH AND ENTER SYSTEM PROPERTIES).

2) Now click on the ADVANCED tab and then press Settings under the performance section as shown in the picture… now uncheck both checkboxes before Data Execution Prevention as well as before System Restore as shown in the picture.

3) Now disable your antivirus or anti-spyware program or else it may interfere with the removal of the virus . Now reboot your system in safe mode by pressing F8 key while booting the computer.

4) After booting in safe mode just type explorer in the RUN dialogue box and press enter, you will see a window having an address bar on the top left side of the computer screen. Just go to Tools in the address bar and select Folder Options from the drop down list as shown below…

5) In the newly opened dialog box click the VIEW tab and then uncheck “Hide extensions for known file types”. Now click the OK button.

6) In your system when you open the FILE manager it will ask you to confirm whether you want to add extensions to all known file types or not, just click the YES button .

7) Now after completing the above steps, launch the command prompt by typing cmd in the RUN dialogue box and proceed to the next step.

8) In command prompt type attrib -h -s -r *.* /s /d and press enter. This will remove all hidden attributes from ALL files.( NOW YOU ARE READY TO RECOVER DATA FROM HARD DISK)

9) To recover data just go to My Computer, double click on C: drive. After opening C: drive select any folder you want to recover data from it. Then copy paste that folder into another partition or external hard disk .
